Childcare & Foster Care Inspections

General sanitation inspections, also known as environmental inspections, are required by daycare, foster care, and adoption agencies before licensing is approved and may be required to be renewed annually or biannually.

Submit a Request for Inspection through MyGovernmentOnline. Please ensure that all required documents have been attached to the application to be complete.

Daycare facilities that operate during regular business hours will be inspected during business hours. 


Please note: If a childcare facility has a food permit with WCCHD Environmental Health Division, the general sanitation inspection is included with the food permit and does not have to pay an additional fee.
